Harbor House was a gut renovation and restructure of the main living rooms, kitchen, and office. The home was optimized in every way to suit functional family living. The outdoor kitchen and fireplace were also focal points in this renovation.
About This Project
This renovation was thoughtfully reimagined to create a home that feels both highly functional and effortlessly inviting — open in layout, yet warm and comfortable. Much of the project focused on restructuring the existing floor plan to improve flow, maximize usable space, and better support modern family living.
Several rooms were redesigned entirely, including the addition of a dedicated office through newly framed walls, transforming the property into a true 4-bedroom home with office and adding both versatility and long-term value. The kitchen and dining areas were expanded to create a more natural gathering space for everyday family use, improving circulation and strengthening the connection between the home’s central living areas.
Functionality remained at the forefront throughout the renovation. The laundry room was completely redone with built-in storage, floating shelves, and a dedicated work sink to elevate organization and utility. A custom dry bar with a large wine fridge was also integrated into the design, creating additional storage and entertaining space where the kitchen footprint previously fell short.
The overall design aesthetic was intentionally minimal and timeless. White and white oak cabinetry bring warmth and balance to the interiors, while brass hardware and soft glass light fixtures add subtle contrast and refinement. Clean lines, layered textures, and understated materials work together to create a home that feels elevated yet approachable — designed not only to look beautiful, but to function beautifully for everyday life.
